Last call to register for this Saturday's Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery!

Here are the details:

We will meet at the Shady Grove Metro Station at 7:30 sharp (in the area where the fare card machines are) to board the train for Arlington.  This is a new wreath laying location for our club and it is sure to be a memorable day for all!

If you need to purchase a fare card, please arrive a few minutes early.  We will have folks there to help you if you have never gotten a fare card before.

Don your patriotic attire (dress warm and wear comfortable shoes).  

Once we arrive, we will take a group photo and then start placing the wreaths on gravesites.  The volunteers stationed at the tractor trailers throughout the cemetery will hand you a few wreaths at a time.   It will be hard to stay together as a group since it is so spread out and there are a lot of people.

Attendees can stay as long as you would like and then head back on the Metro to the Shady Grove Station.
