In accordance with the Bylaws of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women (MFRW), Article XII, I hereby call the MFRW Fall Convention to be held Saturday, November 16th at Hilton Baltimore BWI at 1739 W Nursery Road, Linthicum Heights.  Information on discounted rooms will be available soon.

Proposed RESOLUTIONS will be accepted through November 5th -- email to president@mdfrw.org.  Resolutions are limited to a single page with a single "Resolved" -- no smaller than 10 font.

Registration opens at 9:30 a.m..  Convention will be called to order  at 10:00 a.m. and conclude no later than 4:00 p.m.   The program will include a delicious lunch, exciting speakers, and much more.  Business to be conducted includes approval of the program of action and budget for 2025 and Executive Committee recommendations for the Spring Board meeting and Fall Convention 2025.

Joining us from the National Federation of Republican Women is 3rd Vice President Michelle Buckwalter-Schurman.  Additional program elements will be posted as confirmed.

The voting body of the MFRW state convention is composed of the Board of Directors (elected officers, the regional chairmen and vice chairmen, club presidents, all standing committee chairmen, and all former MFRW presidents who are regular members in good standing of a MFRW club) and credentialed delegates.

The number of credentialed delegates for each club is proportionate to its membership on September 30th – 1 delegate for every 5 members.  The club president will be notified if more club members register for Fall Convention than the allowed number of credentialed delegates.  The club president would then designate the club’s voting delegates.

A proxy form will be provided to club presidents so their club is represented even if they cannot attend. The named proxy must be a full member in good standing of the club she is representing.

Hope you are able to join us!     Sharon Carrick, President
