RWRC - Join the Parade and Booth at Poolesville Day

  • 9:00 AM
  • Meet at Cattail Road and Fisher Ave, Poolesville
Rural Women's Republican Club is excited to announce the next Poolesville Day, Saturday, Sept 21st.  Parade begins at 10 am. We will begin congregating near the corner of Cattail Road and Fisher Avenue at about 9:20 am.

Let me know that you will be there and we will walk "en masse" (a large group of Patriots) to cause Montgomery County's finest shy Conservatives and disgruntled Democrats to mobilize and join us mid-parade. (Or at least inspire them to come to our booth and get involved!) We will have red, white and blue necklaces to hand out to kids of all ages.

Wear your patriotic best and/or t-shirt for your favorite candidate on the ballot. We may have a car or truck or two for those who are not up for walking. Please let me know that you want to participate and we will find you a spot, including suggestions for parking. (Elizabeth's driveway and neighborhood are always a great option.) We will be setting up our booth at 8 am. We expect it to be at our usual spot in front of the Mexican Grill and across from Whalen Commons, almost mid parade. Come by and meet and inspire those that haven't had the bravery to say the words Republican or Trump out in public before. We will have bottles of water to offer up, and shade and a seat to take a load off for a while.

I am looking forward to putting your name on the list. (Let me know one way or the other if you'll be joining us.) Bring your friends. There is always good food,(the "walking tacos" are my favorite and the baked goods from the churches are fantastic!) great music and friendly Poolesville vibes. Not everyone there is open to our type of message, but I do believe their souls are hungry for it! Neil Parrott and his lovely wife April will be there! We will be breaking things down by 4 pm.
